Sunday Look :)

So today, aside from getting up around 12:00 and pretty much relaxing for the rest of the day, I also managed to pull out a small shopping trip to Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, for I needed a good black eyeliner gel for my upcoming portfolio shoot.

My make-up today was hands down my 'go-to-routine', I always feel pretty when wearing it, and it involves a neutral brown smokey eye paired with bright pink lips.

Sunday Make-Up

I love my browns to have a red undertone, just to bring out the green in my eyes :)
This particular one is Bourjois Intense No. '08'

Sunday Outfit:

Jacket - F&F, Tesco
Cigarette trousers: Penneys (Primark)
Shoes: M&S
Bag: TK Maxx

Sunday's Tiny Haul:

How did you spend your sunny day?

INOACOLOR CARE

Let's talk haircare today, shall we? And in particular, about the INOACOLOR CARE range because this is what I've been using lately (that plus I've just washed my locks which gave me a boost to start writing about this).

For everyone that doesn't know, INOA is a new haircare range created by L'Oreal Professionnel, and this is meant to care for your colour treated hair in a salon/pro way, in the comfort of your home.

Protective Cream Shampoo - 250 ml - 13.60 Euro
Rinse Out Protective Conditioner - 150 ml - 14.60 Euro
Rinse Out Protective Conditioning Mask - 200 ml - 17.80 Euro

The cream shampoo is sulphate free, and is enriched with Argan Oil and Green Tea Extracts. The first thing I noticed about it is that while it lathers very well, this shampoo feels just like it says on the tin: creamy, it feels rich and nourishing, and spreads easily through my locks, I could even go as far as saying I nearly don't need conditioner with this. Yes, I said 'nearly', I'm a hands down 'hair conditioning' kind of girl, I would not live without it.

I've only used the shampoo and conditioner so far, I am actually waiting for the conditioner to end so I can use the masque - which I know you're supposed to use as a treatment, but that's how I roll, baby!

The shampoo is of a generous amount, I just wish the conditioner would come in a bigger size as well. I love this range, I'm very particular and picky about my hair care products, they need to feed, nourish and protect my hair, and that is why I love this range. The smell is clean and subtle (smells quite hair salon-ey to me :P) and the ONLY downside for me is the fact that the squeezy tube has a screw-on top, not at all practical in my book. Other than that, I love it, leaves my hair looking healthy and clean, and I feel that I'm giving my locks a bit of T.L.C. when using these! It is a bit pricier than my beloved Aussie range, but I would defo purchase this in the near future cause let's face it, I won't have to break my piggy bank to buy the entire range.

This is available to purchase in L'Oreal Pofessionnel Salons nationwide.

Disclaimer: - These are press samples sent to me for review purposes, my thoughts are as always 100% honest; I'm by no means affiliated with L'Oreal Professionnel.

Tell me this: are you a hair conditioner fanatic (like me? :P)???

Looking for Love...

Well, not really :P!

'Looking for Love' is actually a name, the name of one of Ja'Maal Buster's (a.k.a. Eyelash Guru to the Stars) False Eyelashes set, that I pretty much fell in love with.

Ja'Maal Buster's clientele include starlets like Beyonce, Rhianna, Audrina Partridge and Kim Kardashian, to name a few. I was lucky enough to receive his new collection called 'Just Lashes' which has five different sets, as follows:

You can see me wearing 'Sold Out Show' here

Now, I am not gonna lie. If you follow and read my blog for some time now, you know already that I'm not a fan of full strip false eyelashes. I received the five sets in December and today I am going to write about a particular one I actually love, and that's the 'Looking for Love' set, pictured below.

These look quite natural and not as scary as others might, so I thought I'll give them a go. This set is so, so natural looking, I absolutely love it! I've tried 'Sold Out Show' & 'Rock Star Chic', but I struggle with them and none of these suit my liking, however, they might be to your taste instead.  But this one, I could wear on a regular basis.

All Ja'Maal Buster's Lashes come with glue, but I don't find this to be particularly great, so defo try a duo glue with them if you want proper results. Here's a quick tutorial using these, which I hope you'll enjoy :) :

P.S. All you need is: Two shades of pink eyeshadows, one purple and a black one, and one eye fluffy brush.

Step 1 - Apply a light shade of pink underneath the brows, onto the brow bone
Step 2 - On the entire lid and above the eye socket, apply a stronger shade of pink
Step 3 - Apply a purple eyeshadow onto the eyelid and work it into the eye socket

Step 4 - Take the black eyeshadow and blend it into the outer corner of the eye, in the usual 'V' shape
Step 5 - Take a gel eyeliner and contour the upper lash line, then smudge
Step 6 - Apply mascara
Step 7 - False Eyelashes

Finished Look:

I paired this eye makeup with a nude lip, Estee Lauder's Venetian Rose

And that's it! I must say I love these false eyelashes, I actually cannot wait to use them again. And the next one in line is 'Whisper', which looks quite appealing to be honest :). Obviously, always clean your false eyelashes before reapplying.

Ja'Maal Buster's 'Just Lashes' are available at Sam McCauley's and major pharmacies and salons nationwide, retailing at 6.95 Euro a set.

Have you tried any of these?

NEW: Y.S.L. Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stains

I am a huge, mahoosive fan of Yves Saint Laurent lipsticks, always have been - always will be, it's the only brand that can make me pay over 30Euros on a lipstick, and that is the naked truth. I always find that the ideal 'treat' for me is a YSL lippie, especially Rouge Volupte's.

This Spring, YSL are in with a colour boom, a glossy stain to be more precise, very poshly named 'Rouge Pur Couture Vernis a Levres'. Oui-oui, and there's an entire collection of shades available to purchase on the 15th February (nationwide), should you have 33Euros to spare for a wee treat.

Will you look at these shades????

Shades:

N°1 VIOLET EDITION

N°2 BRUN GLACE
N°3 BRUN CACHEMIRE
N°4 MAUVE PIGMENTE
N°5 ROUGE VINTAGE
N°6 CAMEL CROISIERE
N° 7 CORAIL AQUATIQUE
N° 9 ROUGE LAQUE
N° 10 ROUGE PHILTRE
N° 11 ROUGE GOUACHE
N°12 CORAIL FAUVE
N° 13 ROSE TEMPERA
N° 14 FUCHSIA DORE
N° 15 ROSE VINYL
N° 16 POURPRE PREVIEW
N° 17 ENCRE ROSE
N° 18 ROSE PASTELLE
N° 19 BEIGE AQUARELLE

See further details and a closer look at the shade selection, over on the fab Beaut.ie website.

Last Friday I received a press sample via post ('hooray' and 'yipeeee' altogether + a cheeky happy dance), and No. 17 Encre Rose was my 'destined' shade:

It is only obvious that the packaging is gorgeous, how else would a YSL product present itself? The applicator has a flat shape for precision, and is slanted for extra control on product distribution.

'Encre Rose' is this gorgeous bubblegum pink, with a very clear blue undertone,  it's the perfect "pick-me-up & wear me with a neutral eye look" kind of shade :).

One word for this formula: INNOVATIVE

When applied, the glossy stain feels and looks like a gloss - rather wet at first, but creamy and  thick  enough not to feel oily and yucky. It quickly settles into a bit sticky but manageable consistency. Man, it's hard to explain!
All in all, I love how this settles on the lips, feels very moisturising and creamy. Unlike Benefit's 'Posietint'  for example, which sinks right into your lips after application, the Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Stain is a stain with a creamy-glossy top coat/film on the surface.

The glossy/mirror-shiny effect lasts a good few hours, and it doesn't really matter if you eat or drink, this baby has a great lasting ability.

So, how does it fade?

Just like this!

The stain remains for an entire day (not kidding), therefore it's the ideal product for both lipgloss and lip stain fans. I did not find this product to be at all drying, and my lips are very dry per general. It is no more drying than you regular (not matte) lipstick in my opinion.

Conclusion: It's a hell of an investment if you ask me and 33Euros to me personally, is a great price for a YSL lippie. I defo recommend you at least giving these a swatch the next time you're around a YSL counter, I sure will be checking out Rose Tempera and Rouge Philtre, you just try and stop me!

Do these appeal to you, formula wise?
